Niantic has left one more gift under the Sudowoodo tree before players go for the holidays, including the Winter Holiday event: Kalos starter Chespin will be the focus of the first Pokemon Go Community Day of 2023.
The Spiny Nut Pokemon Chespin will be featured during the Pokemon Go January 2023 Community Day on January 7 from 2 PM to 5 PM local time. During the event, players will have a higher chance of catching a shiny Chespin variety, and any Chespins that develop into Quilladin and then Chesnaught will be familiar with the unique Charged Attack, Frenzy Plant.
During the event's running hours, players can spend $1 on a temporary Community Day Special Research called Quality Quills, which they can use to accomplish chores to accrue extra encounters with Chespin. Last but not least, special four-star raids with Quilladin will be accessible in gyms, and for 30 minutes after a defeat, Chespins will appear more frequently nearby.
