An forthcoming mobile game based in China called Assassin's Creed Jade looks to have leaked footage. The footage depicts movement and battle in what seems to be one of the game's earlier levels.
The video appeared to be from an early build and was released on Reddit, according to a report from VGC. This is an early version of the game and does not represent the final quality of the product, watermarks that state as much periodically appear during the gameplay, which was recorded from an iPhone. The leaked video appears to be from the game's introduction and instruction. The Xiongnu army is attacking a village outside the Great Wall of China as it is depicted with a figure leaping across a part of it. A minimap, objective markers, and light/heavy assaults are present, but otherwise the UI and gameplay are very similar to recent Assassin's Creed games on consoles.
Instead of playing as Shao Jun from the Assassin's Creed Chronicles, gamers will construct their own characters in Jade. Along with three previous Assassin's Creed titles, Jade was unveiled earlier this year. Another mobile game with an unnamed title is being created in collaboration with Netflix and will be released only on the streaming service. Codenamed Red, which takes place in Japan, and Hexe, which takes place in the Holy Roman Empire, are the other two console/PC games. Both movies will come out after the forthcoming Mirage, which is scheduled to arrive in 2023. The hub Assassin's Creed Infinity includes these upcoming titles as well.
