Every day from December 19 to 23 at 9 AM PT / 12 AM ET, a mini-direct for the Inside the House of Indies: Holiday Event will be broadcast. New announcements, changes to already-released titles, and other tidbits and goodies will all be included in each video. Consider a few indie Switch games shown in brief, bite-sized videos.
The first day of the House of Indies has already ended, and it provides a good indication of what to anticipate from subsequent days. Both Mortal Shell: Complete Edition, an action-packed Souls-like, and Floppy Knights 2.0, a card-based, whimsical strategy game, have announced Switch versions. These two titles are both now for sale on the eShop. Pupperazzi, a dog photography game, will also be available on Nintendo Switch in early 2023.
There was also a new game revealed. In 2023, Roman Sands Re:Build will be available on Steam and Switch. The same developer that created Paratropic has released a first-person narrative game. As you try to get out of an endless luxury retreat, the game combines elements of gacha, horror, visual novels, and puzzle games.
The games shown here range from small-team, laser-focused fun to pretty elaborate, high-budget independent titles. So, it stands to reason that subsequent days will likely cover a comparable amount of ground. The Nintendo official website has daily announcements that you can check out when they become available.
