A new two-part story update for GTA Online will focus on the hallucinogenic drug industry. The beginning of the story, titled Los Santos Drug War, will be released on December 13 and will feature new objectives, establishments, and vehicles.
Players will visit Blaine County and meet Nervous Ron in this new update. He'll be working with some individuals who want a piece of the Los Santos psychedelic drug market, and you're up for making the pills yourself while fending off a "coalition of affluent hippies and trigger-happy bikers."
Rockstar promised a wide range of updates, some of which will be seasonal. To observe how those new activities will appear, we'll have to wait for another sarcastically written blog entry.
Rockstar has been providing regular weekly updates for GTA V's online component, as well as significant plot expansions on occasion, like this Los Santos Drug War. The Criminal Enterprise, which was published back in July, was one of the most recent significant revisions. It was an expansion with lots of opportunities to do crimes, as the name implies (though, that applies to Los Santos Drug War and GTA in general).
Quality-of-life improvements have also recently been made to GTA Online. ray tracing is now available for PS5 and Xbox Series X gamers, among other small changes.
