Fortnite Chapter 4 will soon be here. Although Epic hasn't made a public announcement about when Fortnite's servers will be back online, some precedent in history and logical inferences give us a pretty precise window of time. The gist of it is: You won't have to wait very long. Continue reading to get a more thorough response. When can you play Fortnite once more?
The Fortnite servers will be back online when?
Following the Chapter 3 conclusion, Fortnite is presently experiencing planned downtime. This indicates that Chapter 4 is approaching and that it will include, among other things, new weapons, an entirely new island, and a new battle pass. But none of that matters until players can access the Fortnite servers again. Epic likes to keep things a secret, but past performance indicates Fortnite will resume play tomorrow, December 4, sometime between 4 and 7 a.m. PT / 7 and 10 a.m. ET. Based on our experience covering several seasons of Fortnite, we've estimated a three-hour window, but as always, the actual time is subject to change for a variety of reasons.
One is that the most recent patch for the game requires downtime, and fixes might be delayed. Even while Epic aims to release Chapter 4 as soon as possible, unexpected events may interfere with that goal. It's also important to remember that over the past year, new seasons (as well as the release of Chapter 3) included a queue system that made it harder for players to access the game after the main menu. At the very least, you should prepare for a queue when you launch Fortnite tomorrow. It's going to be a very busy day for Epic and all of the Fortnite players because a new chapter launch is about as big as it gets in the game.
