Rewards for Trials of Osiris in Destiny 2 this week (December 23-27)

Nothing gets you in the holiday spirit faster than some furious PvP action, and if you happen to be in the vicinity of the Destiny 2 Solar system this weekend, Trials of Osiris is returning and serving you just that. Before attempting a faultless run, here is a wonderful chance to test out the new Revision Zero Exotic pulse weapon in that arena, and you can also see where Xur is in case you need some new equipment. This weekend's Trials of Osiris locations and available weapons are listed below.

Map: Midtown

  • Reputation Rank 4: Upgrade Module x 2
  • Reputation Rank 7: Enhancement Prism x 3
  • Reputation Rank 10: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset)
  • Reputation Rank 13: Upgrade Module x 2
  • Reputation Rank 16: Trials Weapon (Changes for each rank reset)
  • Flawless Reward: Whistler's Whim (Adept)
Weapons used in trials now have the Alacrity Origin Trait. When you're the only survivor of a fireteam or running alone, it increases your Trials firearms' aim assistance, reload speed, stability, and range. Another option is to switch on the Crucible Origin attribute One Quiet Moment, which makes reloading your gun outside of battle much faster.
As usual, Trials becomes accessible from the daily reset on Friday at 9 AM PT / 12 PM ET until the weekly reset on Tuesday at the same time. You can also visit Xur during that time to check what exotic goods he has for sale. Visit Saint-14 in the Tower as soon as possible to obtain a Trials card, which will specify certain perks (such as whether you get bonus rewards at certain milestones or if a loss will be forgiven).
Trials of Osiris is a weekend PvP mode that lasts four days, from the daily reset on Friday to the weekly reset on Tuesday. You and the other two members of your fireteam must win seven matches straight to complete a "Flawless" run, which is your objective in the Trials.

By being Flawless, you can gain access to the Lighthouse and exceptional gifts, such as the new Adept weaponry. These are some of the most sought-after things you can find because they contain additional stat boosts.
Trials has undergone a number of adjustments this year, making it a little simpler to get started than in previous years. Matchmaking is now available in The Trials of Osiris, allowing players to enter matches even if they lack a full squad of three players. You can continue to play and earn rewards even if you lose on a Flawless run thanks to the fact that your Trials Passage, the card you buy from Saint-14 that gives you access to the mode and keeps account of your wins, no longer keeps track of your defeats.
In addition, Bungie changed Trials to reward players based on the number of rounds won during a session rather than the number of matches won. They also added a reputation system akin to those found in the Crucible and Gambit, which makes it simpler to obtain some of the Trials of Osiris' special loot.
Finally, while playing the mode, you'll gain Trials Engrams, which you may exchange for Saint-14 throughout the weekend after you obtain them. You can modify those engrams to produce particular items of treasure or take a chance with random drops that will increase the variety of loot that is available to you. So there are many ways to obtain fantastic new gear even if you're just joining Trials on your own.
